Children and Adult Programs Estimates Bureau MS 8-14-90 The Children and Adult Programs Estimate Bureau provides fiscal analyses and caseload estimates for welfare programs including cash grant payments and administrative costs for the SSI/SSP, In-Home Supportive Services, Foster Care, Child Welfare Services, Community Care Licensing, Adoptions, Special Programs, Refugee Programs and Adult Protective Services programs. Estimates for these programs are prepared for the subvention process, court cases, and for proposed state and federal legislation. The resulting estimates become an integral part of the development of the Governor’s Budget. In addition, the Bureau prepares fiscal impact estimates for administrative and policy changes and for various reports transmitted to the Federal Government.
