Bob Erlenbusch

Bob Erlenbusch has worked on advocacy issues on homelessness, affordable housing,  livable incomes and hunger for 40 years at the local, state and national levels. 

He was a Community Organizer, Los Angeles Health Care for the Homeless Project for seven years, beginning in November 1984 [one of the original Robert Wood Johnson grantees].   Bob was the founding executive director of the Los Angeles Coalition to End Hunger & Homelessness and served in that capacity from 1991-2008.  He now lives and works in Sacramento and is the former Senior Program Manager for the Sacramento Hunger CoalitionHe Founded the Sacramento Regional Coalition to End Homelessness [SRCEH] in 2013 and was the Executive Director for 13 years. Bob currently is on the Board of Directors,  National Coalition for the Homeless [NCH] and SRCEH. Bob has his masters and PhD from the University of Southern California [Political Science]; a Thornton Bradshaw Fellow, Claremont Graduate School of the Humanities and a recipient of a fellowship from the Durfee Foundation. 

Finally, Bob is an adjunct professor at CA State University, Sacramento in the Division of Social Work.
